I had heard of MEDDIC, MEDDICC, & MEDDPPIC and tried to implement them. Using the odd question linked to a letter here and there, I felt like it was a pretty basic acronym for sales so applied it through that lens in my deals whenever relevant. When I came across David talking about it on podcasts. I then learned his version of the MEDDPPIC methodology. It was the first time I really grasped the power of using the framework. I understood it in a completely different way, and David's knowledge of it, and what he shares on how to use it during the sales process, has fundamentally altered how I approach things. First, the realization that the deals that were closing were either all "green" as David spells out the requirements for getting to “green”, is the cold hard fact that this is bringing reality to deals. Secondly, David positions the acronym more as a checklist, not a qualification methodology. This led to more fluidity in my discovery and allowed me to use the framework in a non-linear fashion across my entire deal at all stages to see gaps. This has altered my thinking and made me more effective. I now can look at the gaps, and think through how I can overcome them. Using tactics David has shared, I'm closing more and larger deals. It's honestly still a work in progress, to master the depth of the wisdom David shares is going to take me a while
